We just got a call from a neighbor at my parents lake property. One of our other neighbors down there has passed away, only in his 50's. From what i heard his kidneys shut down and he had a heart attack, they got everything back and he was doing good but then suffered another massive heart attack that took his life, He was a real nice guy. Just goes to show you can be here doing fine one minute and then gone in no time flat, not a good new years for his family or us.
It's horrible that things like this happen at a time most people see as a hopeful new start....damn. My grandmother died on New Year's Eve many years ago, I only hope your neighbor's family fares better in weeks and New Year's to come than mine has. RIP rebel's neighbor.
Thanks everybody, I apreciate all you people on here giving your kind words. He was quite a drinker, drank whiskey and beer from the crack of dawn to 11 or twelve at night. Was always under the influence, always walking around with his eyes half closed but a very peaceful man, always greeted people and was friendly with everyone. I think it was his overdueing it with alchohol that took his life. Just goes to show a little alchohol is good for ya but to much all the time will kill you. Peace to everybody here and again thanks for your sympathies, it's people like you that make this site such a great place.
