Pete sucked.He'd only been playing a couple of years,only knew one kick drum pattern,and couldn't learn another when Paul tried to teach him.Listen to Anthology I.The audition recording of Love Me Do is a disaster,drum-wise. The Beatles passed the George Martin audition,but Pete didn't. Ringo had been playing toy drums,pots and pans,and whatnot since he was a sick little kid in the hospital.He was one of the best drummers in Liverpool,and the Beatles had played with him before they hired him.He was a perfect fit.
Dude..I SOO agree with you. But out of the two (pete and ringo) I think pete was teh better drummer, even though ringo is super cool
