ok i know this is so lame, esp. when compared to the work of all yall amazing artists in here, but i wanted to post SOMETHING that i have made & have a picture of. I made the top 3 years ago to wear to this festival in austin called eeyore's birthday (which is magical, by the way). It's made of random cotton/calio prints/old retro napkins and pillowcases. the straps are of this vintage light green cotton lace i scored at a garage sale. i stiched all of it by hand...yeah it took forever--no machine at the time. the picture is bad quality, but look! i'm the girl on the left
i know i want bigger pictures, too! i scanned this on my dad's computer 3 years ago & i'm at my dinky apartment now w/ no digital camera, scanner, & the top's at my parents house. but i'll try to get my friends to take pics w/ their camers of other stuff i've made... *thanks for the compliments everyone! it's nice to know that others like it, & it was worth the effort of making
