When people steal my jokes...or not even jokes like sayings they've never heard before because they're old people and then I say it and I hear them claim it as their own when I know there's no way in hell they heard it before they heard it from me. people piss me off don't be a dumb ass come up with your own stuff pull something from when you grew up you're not that fucking old man you must remember something funny.
but what if it's somone you don't like? Like my friend steals my jokes a lot but she's been my friend forever and has always done it so it doesn't bug me but if somone i don't like does it i wanna just arghhhhhh scream stop
well, it depends on how much i dislike the person. and most people at my school seem to be non-creative, so yea...i usually let it slide, but theres a few people i'll get pretty pissed off at.

When I was younger I had a friend that would always steal my jokes, and in the most annoying way. I'd say them to her when it was just the two of us, then she'd turn around and repeat them when we were in a larger group, taking the credit for the brilliance. And she was a fucking idiot too, completely uncreative with no chance of being clever or witty on her own. I feel like I'm back in 7th grade thinking about this..
eh, just gotta give credit where credit is due right? I mean, I steal peoples jokes but I usually say "I heard it from so and so"
What really gets me slightly pissed is when I go to www.bash.org (humorous quote database) and I come across some lame ass joke that's usually funny untill they say it was themselves in the situation. Stop stealing things damnit.
know what's funny? i do this on accident sometimes... when i hear it a lot from a friend or somebody i'm around a lot, i just find myself using the same phrases... i try not to, but i guess i'm not usually original enough to make up my own catch phrases... lol, and EVERYBODY steals from movies and tv shows.
True! I find my vocabulary evolves based on people around me, and how they talk. Sometimes inside jokes affect my long-term vocab. Usually just subtle changes. Fun~
