So I am smoking legally for the first time

right now and it feels different-like not as fun. The lack of deviance makes it feel, well rather medicinal as oppossed to freeing. Plus it was a bitch to get, mush easier to get from just somone around than a licensed grower.Thoughts?

Until the government stops putting sick people in jail for using medical mearijuana, I'm going to continue getting high illegally.

Faking illess and claiming that I am entitled to use medical pot is not how I support our truely ill brothers and sisters in federal prison.

 

In CA, you can get a card for any ailment that can be treated with cannabis, including psychological/mood disorders. What county do you live in lynsey?

 

Everyone who can should tryan get a med card for whatever reson they can even if its just to make it more comonplace. Making this stuff closer to legal is way beyond you and me, its for doin the rite thing for the enviorment. No one really cares if you wanna light up a bowl and no ones tryin to protect you from yourself. Sad fact is, if the powers that be in control here on earth allow you and me to light up some Herb theyd have to allow you to grow it for petrolium replacement and pharmacutical replacement purposes too. Just like the guy on tv says, you cant copyrite a herb but you can copyrite a drug. Take a look at the tag on your couch that your not supposed to rip off and read it, made outa petro aint it? Marijuana should be legal for both medicine and recreation. However it isn't. Even in states where state law permits medical marijuana, the feds arrest and imprison sick people for using it as medicine.

Choosing between two evils, I would prefer that I, who use pot for recreation, suffer from government idiocy before they imprison the truely ill people who need it for medicine.
Getting a doctor's note, "even if its just to make it more comonplace", feels to me to be hiding among sick people crying "don't hurt us". I prefer to say "me first!" while blocking their path to the sick folks.
By choosing to act outside the law, we must make sure of our ethics. Getting unwarrented med cards is an ethical issue for pot outlaws in more and more states.

My friends are divided on this issue, but I urge anyone who tries to get an unneeded med. card to consider the issue and be aware when they make their choice.

These comments are NOT directed at any ill person who is looking for medicine. Nor am I making any assupmtions about the medical needs of any of the posters in this thread. The issue only arises when when someone thinks about getting a med. card so they can get high "legally."

 

I bet that most of the Folks who say they use Herb for med resons but are actually gettin "high" prolly dont come to a full complete stop at stopsigns either. I personaly cant stand it when someone just rolls threw a stop sighn! I got a real ethical issue with that! Dose anybody roll threw stop sighns around here? Heh heh

 

Just trying to point out an issue. I can see why people would want to make either choice. I just want people to see there is a decision for them to make.

hehe i've always thought that would happen for most people, including myself. but you could try viewing it in a different way now. like, think about all the things you liked about it besides the illegality and focus on that 'till you have a new formed love for it. *shrug* that's what i'd do, anyway. i'd focus on how i like the increse of patients, understanding, acceptance and how much fun everything becomes.
