Eh? The people who brought you Operation Mindcrime, which could quite possibly be the most intelligent metal album there is.

I liked the early stuff, but they seemed to take themselves too seriously later on. Ive seen them live several times, and they can do a decent show when given the stage. Mindcrime was better to see as a live thing than the album was, at least for me. Their first EP was always my fave of theirs.

Operation Mindcrime was a good concept album but the band didn't inspire me. Much more of a Faith No More kind of guy

Now see, I've been listening to this on the way to work all week. I didn't know anybody else out there had even heard of it. I saw them perform this live in it's entirety last year. When they started with that crazy drumming at the beginning I nearly pee'd my pants[IMG]

I've just bought tickets to see them perform this and Mindcrime I in their entirety. In October (I've got 6 months to wait), but WHOO HOO[IMG], anyway.[IMG]

I got to see them live a couple of years ago, and it was exceptional. Geoff Tate's voice is amazing!
