Here again ive seen a fine example of todays church. One of the fine church members of the local church I do some vol work for(I do odds and ends for them but do not attend) low balled me into a 2500$ job for $1000 saying his meager pension wouldnt allow him to pay more. But today I found out from some common friends hes worth easily about 4 million. How would ya feel about that?
That's fucked up and could be considered highway robbery. Hypocrisy at it's finest. It's fairly common for most bible thumping, god's-ass-kissing, bitches that claim to be christians. They are usually worse than the people they claim are the "scum of the earth". I know more christians that are willing to fuck people over than I do non-christians.
Well im more than half way through it, I knew id lose my ass on the job but its filler between houses and gives me time to get my head right since I just quit a few bad habbits. Its just the fact that one so much into this little church wont pay a fair wage for a job. But I guess this is part of how rich people get rich.
I've been on jobs where I knew I was going to take a beating so I can relate. I try to keep the karma good and it evens out eventually. I consider the bad ones as educational expenses.
I got to keep my word and stick to it no matter how it fucks me on this job, not sure where your at but its a simple 8x12 add on to a closet on the side of the home. Its down a slope so I had to dig and pour three footers and put it on posts. Its along the back of the house and follows the 8 pitch roofline on the backside. Here its material=labor but in this case 2500 material=1000 labor. I got to grab my ankles and spell run on this one.
