I think my fish just kissed...

I was just staring at my fish tank just now and my two gold fish literally swam straight into each other, their mouths touched and then they swam away. Weird, huh?

no...i was just randomly staring at the fish tank like i often do, so no time for getting a camera before it was over...it would have been awesome if i had tho...

 

I need to get a fish but they poo alot.

when we first got the fish i'd make fun of them for pooing in front of everybody, and my bf said i should stop b/c where else do they have to poo

sometimes one of the fish will eat the other's poo thinking it was food, but then they'd realize it wasnt and would spit it out...at least they used to, they dont do it anymore

i have a kisser fish but there's only one of them and he's huge............. if you put two of them together then they make out

 

The kissing gourami is aptly named as it appears to pucker up whilst swimming around the tank, occasionally two kissers will lock mouths and look like they are kissing. In the wild the fish can grow up to 12" but this is rarely achieved in a tank. the fish will eat most foods but preferences are vegetarian. In a community tank the fish will rarely bread. While young the kissing gourami appears to be pink, but as the fish grows it will loose most of its pinkness becoming a pearly white.
