For all the guitar or other musicians out there.....what or who do you sound like? I play only acoustic tunes (played electric for years with nothing but shit). But id say i kind of play a mix between Michael Hedges, William Ackerman, and Nick Drake possibly. Other than that, i really dont sound like just one musician. I wish i could play the marimbas or drums. Id love to be able to play some badass African tribal marimbas, or some cool jazz beats on drums. But i dont know jack about theory so ive basically just stuck with guitar...its easy.
Ive been told I sound like robin trower, and also james gurley or jorma kaukonen. But I put the latter two down to playing an old Sg on 60s tunes to drunken ears. Either that or I am getting more riffs right than I thought!
