This is a Classic American nudie-cutie Film from 1961 by Doris Wishman.It is a totally wholesome film with no private parts on display so please rest assured that I'm not posting up anything too naughty.It is currently available on DVD Video.

 

If those were real nudists, they wouldnt look as good as they do naked and they would have no need to hold a towel in front of their "private" parts. I just think this is a movie for guys who wanna oogle naked women. Why not have a REAL movie about a REAL nudist camp with REAL nudists on it instead of this two bit naked model crap.

 

Good call Mike. I couldn't agree more. It reminds me of the movie "Maslin Beach" which has a reputation of being of soft porn. Thank god for the nudist video companies. However, even they seem to go over the line from time to time.

 

It is a film that features: real nudists ;they are intersped with the naked actors/actresses.


'Diary Of A Nudist' was made in 1961 when nudie-cuties were all the rage.Doris Wishman was one of the best at this genre.Many other directors had a go including Russ Meyer & Michael Winner.

It is an upbeat (I nearly said "uplifting":& ) Film. I have it on DVD & have watched it countless times because it is refreshingly optimistic ; being made during the Kennedy opulent 'Camelot' era of the early 1960s.

It is colourful, scenic & has a marvellous mood-jazz soundtrack.

You have to remember that the general public was much thinner 45 years ago. I can see these people as being real nudists in a typical nudist camp. Also, I don't fit your stereotypical model of the typical nudist either.

 

That's a good point!.The obesity levels of 2006 did not pervade the world of 1961.I deliberately selected these pictures for show.There are some really fat people in the film but they don't make very: 'showpiece' material.I don't know what a stereotypical nudist looks like? Is there really such a thing?.

 

Well, in my mind and from my experiences, the typical nudist doesn't have a god or goddess like body. They are just average Janes and Joes. That's what is so cool about nudists, they are comfortable enough with their own bodies to display it. I haven't seen many well toned bodies in my adventures. There are a few now and then, but typically not.

The stills I've posted are from the: staged models/actors & actresses.
But you are incorrect to say no real nudists are featured in the film;- yes they are-I simply haven't featured them here.
I was focusing more on the film itself than on the 'lifestyle' it depicts in ,I wholly agree;an exploitative way.
