I usually hold tension in my neck and shoulders, but lately it's been really bad. Anyone have any methods for getting rid of muscle tension?

one simple method someone told me they do before their meditations whether tense or not worked for me when i tried it... my muscles got all achy after a bad nights sleep once and i decided to try it for some reason and it actually worked. you just squeeze and tense whatever tense muscle you have, and take a deep breath when you do, hold the breath, and let it out as you release the tension in the muscle. then just feel the tension release, and mess around with combining your breathing with it some, and it might help some... massages can work a lot of healing with knots in our back too, and just cultivating a healthy physical and emotional life once you do get them unwound.

A new bed, a new pillow, a new recliner or sofa. At work, a new chair.

Are you mindful of your tension?
