Too bad Cabin Fever gargled balls. This movie terrifies me. I want to see it, but I really don't want to at the same time.
I laughed at the recent previews on TV. Paramedics had to be called to the theatre during an advanced screening due to intensity and severe torture scenes or something like that. Suuuure, if it is going to be that brutal, then it wouldnt have an R rating. But I dig Cabin Fever and I have faith in Eli Roth, I think it might be good.
I saw it tonight. It was hyped up too much. But it is definitely worth watching atleast once or twice.
yeah. i saw it with dressed to kill. i thought it was pretty good. there wasn't as much gore as i was expecting, but when there was gore..it was gooood. haha.
They could have used the torture scenes to provide much more psychological terror. It's difficult to bring out someone's primal fears; being gross is easy. BTW, does anyone remember what the web address was from the business card?
I found it to be rather entertaining. Did everyone actually think they would go all out in a horror movies, showing all the torture devices and procedures. I knew they wouldn't. I'm not putting it down but I just wish Hollywood would go that extra mile and make it a perfect movie. More disgusting stuff. The way they kept backing off of the torture really upset me. There was enough but only showed half of it.
I had no intention of seeing it, so I asked my friend who had saw it about the film... One question: How is it supposed to be scary if you know the surgeon guy is who he is?
I enjoyed it. It is very gruesome, but the movie as a whole is very good. I like the fact that they didn't show every little bit of the torturing, it was certainly gory enough to satisfy those with a taste for torture, but the amount that it cut away was perfect... left just enough to the imagination. It took me about 3-4 days to finally form an opinion of this movie, because it shocked me so much. I am normally pretty good at handling blood and gore in movies, but even this one had me in the fetal position.
