St. Pete has nice, pretty secluded beaches. I've heard of Lafayette and Miami but I don't really know much about either.

I live near to Kenyon and a friend of mine is going there next year. I also have a good friend at Wooster and know of people who went to Eckerd, Miami, and Earlham.

In terms of academics, Kenyon's probably the most rigorous. It's well known for its English program. It's also in a small town in rather rural Ohio, though it's fucking beautiful in the fall and spring up there. I know they have a new physical education complex, the architecture in general is very gothic (the dining hall looks like Hogwart's great hall), and the lecture I sat in on about Beowulf was sweet.

Wooster is nice too, small, and my friend seems to like it. A solid liberal arts education to be had. I went there for something in 8th grade. I remember they had a bowling alley. My friend's all about their frisbee team, he has a lot of fun.

Earlham is Quaker. That's about all I know.

Eckerd is a school good for marine biology, and that's all I really know about it.

And Miami, well, is a good university, though sort of "preppy." Though if you're not into the preppy stuff, I'm sure you'll find people you like there. A couple of my teachers in high school graduated from Miami.

That's all I have. Good luck.
