I like most things and some of my favourite bands are slayer, cradle of filth and godsmack. However as you will have gathered from most of my posts I'm particularly partial to a bit of 80s metal and I have started a small website listing the top 100 heavy metal bands and top 100 heavy metal songs. On the list of songs a band appeared in the song list and their name is "Manticora" I checked out their site and played the sample tracks and thought they were great. They started in the late 90s and are still going strong apparently. Word of warning if you don't like European style power chords then you probably won't like this. I will point out that they are not "Europe" and are a bit more powerful than that.

the site was invaded by people at www.europetheband.com and they have voted in their masses. Its up to other people to do the same to oust them out of top spot. You can add bands and songs to the list, get them higher by voting for them
There is no way that anyone should take this list seriously......Its a total joke. Number one, over half the bands on there wouldn't ever be considered "metal". Number two, the top 15 metal songs are nothing but europe, and thats just retarded. and lastly, voting on this would be pointless....it would change nothing at this point.
