    Heres a good one: My friends and I would like to know the origins and history of the word pot. THANKS

    My understanding is the word POT was derived from the Mexican-Indian or Spanish word "potiguaya" roughly meaning marijuana leaves. However, I know for a fact we use the term "roach clip" because "pot holder" was already being used by homemakers.

    HAHA Imhip.. my first good laugh of the day...

    I could never use a 'roach' clip as I have a screaming roach phobia...I used to wear a smoke stone just for that reason.

    The little buggers would start to grow legs and squirm if I tried to use a clip and I would get freaked.
