I never had a latta till today when I reported to Dunkin Donuts for my first day at work there. It will also be my last latta I think...just not my fave drink thats for sure. Still couldn't explain to anyone what the difference is between a latta, espresso, or a cappiccino is. But if all lattas taste like the mocha latta I got today, I can do without them.
CONGRATS!!!!!!!! oh and a Latte- is steamed milk with espresso and a little bit of foam on the top, a capacinno-is ezpresso with dry foam and espresso is just really strong coffee that's heat pressurized.
even with this description, i still have no fucking clue what you're talking about...its something i don't think i'll ever comprehend...
i just miss coffee i haven't had any in two months): and the worse part is that i have about 200 in starbucks certificates from christmas...great time to not be allowed to have coffee):
yea, that must suck...i never really ordered any different type of coffee, just got a regular coffee from dunkies....
you guys have A LOT of dunkin donuts stores over there it was really weird. it's like dairy queen in the south how every block there's one. We have a lot of mc donalds out here.
i wouldnt get it from dunkin donuts, i know theyre startin to have good coffee, but you really got to know your estuff to come up with good esspresso drinks. esspresso is a concentrated shot of coffee, depending on how you make it, it can be extreemely bitter, or carmelly smooth and sweet. a latte is shots of esspresso, mixed with steam milk. i dont care for milk, sometimes i make on with soy milk and that can be tasty. a latte is also topped with froth from the steamed milk. a cappacino is the esspresso with mostly just the froth from steamed milk, with a small amount of milk, depending on your taste for esspresso. its really hard to get a good tasting shot of esspresso, and you have to drink it with in a minute or so or else it becomes bitter or sour.
Oh my, I could do some major damage with a bunch of gift certificates to a coffee house like that. Definitely. Now I want coffee. Again.
Wow, that sucks. I couldn't live without coffee.. And get a latte from Starbucks or somewhere, I wouldn't consider a dunkin donuts latte to be really indicative of what a latte should taste like.
oh don't get me wrong, I love my starbucks too, my sister is an asistant manager at one in Toronto but outside of the city it's all about timmies, we are a nation of timmies!!! like seriously, in most small towns the timmies is the social hotbed, it's the spot to keep up to date on all the local gossip, politics and sports...oh ya, and the coffee is addictivly good
