THEREFORE, when the gate was built it was not named simply the "Golden Gate" but rather it was named the Golden Gate later by Christians as a result of Christ's entrance through the gate on what is know as Palm Sunday. Before Christ, it was simply known as the gate that faces east.

The supposed "jesus" entered jerusalem through the Golden Gate because that is what the gate has always been known as, that it what it is called, and that is what the supposed "jesus" rode through. Christian tradition says so ~ Golden Gate!!!!!
Now tell me that the christian tradition got it all wrong.

Some people call a car a Ford, some people call a car a Chevy, the fact of the matter is, what ever you want to call a car, it is still a car. Jesus desended the Mount of Olives on His way to Jerusalem. The Mount of Olives is located on the East side of Jerusalem, and the only Gate that was on the East side of Jerusalem was the Easter Gate. So what ever you call the Gate, it is still the Eastern Gate. And it was the only gate that allowed entry to Jerusalem from the East side. The fact that some call the Eastern Gate the Golden Gate today, has nothing to do with the prophecy, so what is the big deal? I always refer to the Gate as the Eastern Gate, yet if someone calls it the Golden Gate I would never say this person was trying to rewrite history, or decieve. Call the Gate what you will, but it is still the Eastern Gate.

Does it really matter what the gate is called? Jesus walked through it...who cares? Why try to prove something that is unproveable? Last time I checked it was "blessed are those who live by faith* or something along those lines. faith - beliving with out proof. God dosen't want you to Prove his existince. If he wantd to prove his existance don't you think he could do that on his own? The prophecy are for the followers. How can you prove the prophecy true to people who don't belive in prophecy?
