Documentary on the Haight district in '67

    Hey all I was just searching the internet for info on communes in Canada and for some odd reason I came across this clip.It basically documents the hippie movement in the Haight district and where things seemed to be headed.

    No problem dude I thought people on here might like it so I went ahead and posted it.

    If anyone else watches it please share your thoughts and if you thought it portrayed what the counter culture was all about back then or what it still is about.

    wish the segment with the cat from the diggers was longer... good piece tho. the bus driver reminded me of this guy, well... really a fixture in the smalltown franklin county life... that works at waffle house...

    In some ways the Haight has changed drastically....but in other ways the same old craziness continues to happen anyway. My last time there I nearly got caught in the middle of a drug bust.
