something about seeing people put food in their mouth can be gross. i was on the streetcar one day, and this fat lady was eating cream cheese out of packages and i wanted to vomit.
Thankfully not I've been working in the Hotel/Restaurant biz in food service operations for 12 years. If you think watching people eat is gross, watching the people prepare the food is ten times worse. I've seen some nasty shit in my day in commercial kitchens
Well, they can be equally as bad. Especially when people eat soup and slurp..........fuck, makes me cringe.
only when they're noisy, talk while eating, or chew with their mouths open. I don't really watch people eat though, if I can avoid it, because most people are pigs and do at least one of those three offensive behaviours
Another gross story involving public transportation I had this guy sitting near me on the subway and he was actually eating his snot. Picking away and eating it for 30 MINUTES. I was in disbelief.
McDonalds...when they take the top off the burger thingys and they smell vile and there are all sorts of coloured sauce things and no-one knows what they are. Makin me sick jus thinkin bout it
I find it very amusing. I work in a chicken wing and beer joint. chicken wings are messy to begin with, and some of these people are really drunk and they just look like babies with sauce on their foreheads and all over their hands and face, its hilarious to watch our customers. then we got the full pound burger that wont stay together at all. thats a challenge to eat. i laugh my ass off at some of these slobs.
we dont have bouncers. we're a "bring your kids and grandparents" kind of place, only with lots of beer
In grade 5, we had to host the "special needs class" for a Thanksgiving lunch. I was so grossed out (I was 10) it was really hard to watch some of these kids eat. This was back in the days of keeping them in a separate class, and there were kids in diapers who probably had no idea where they were and could barely feed themselves. It was the worst experience..... I imagine the teachers thought they were teaching us tolerance or some fool thing...really we were too young for that and I was just scared.
