What's your preference for footwear? (If you wear anything on yer feet at all) I wear really super thin thong sandals or my old dance shows....its almost like barefoot for me, which is my usual, but my feet are getting sick so i am off that for a brief while.
Most of the time I never wear shoes or sandels but if I have to I perfer sandels. I HATE SHOES!!!!!!!!!!
I'm incredibly random in my footwear--depending on my outfit I rotate between Birkenstocks & flip-flops to chuck taylors, old school checkerboard Vans & retro-styled sneakers (like Sauconys & Roos) to 3-inch black platform velcro Mary Janes & 3-inch black platform boots. xoxo cortnee
Im almost always wearing my birkenstocks...If i have to wear sneakers..I have my converse...but thats only on an absolute must basis...if i can go without shoes..i do..but its hard where i live because theres always glass everywhere
I wear my birkenstocks or other comfortable sandals in the summer. I also like those slip ons with the buckles that look like little girl doll shoes. I'll wear old style sneakers or my Doc Marten's, those always feel great. When I feel dressy, I have these high-heel black leathery boots with zippers on the sides and I wear them under long skirts. My favorite knock-around shoes though are these really cushy ones that have leather around them, but I tend to like tennies and other shoes with cushy softness on my feet, so I don't have to wear socks with them. When I'm not wearing shoes, I'm wearing slippers because my feet are too sensitive to be barefoot and we have a lot of junk around the house I would not like to step on.
Birkenstocks, because they are comfy and healthy for my feet, not cuz they are "hippie". In the winter when I can't wear my Birk sandals, I wear Doc Martens but I wish I could find a winter shoe that was as comfy as my Birk sandals are. I don't like tennis shoes. I've never worn those old converse style tennis shoes, alll I've ever had were those cross-trainer type shoes, the big bulky ones, I hate them.
I've a pair of birks I wear once in a while but I prefer my thong sandals... They're flourescent orange! You can see them from the moon they're so bright!
I love birkies and bare feet, but for my birthday last year my hubby got me a pair of chacos. I love them!!!! They're like river sandals. We do a lot of hiking and it's nice to be able to walk through streams or wear them in the water at rocky beaches. Chacos is an ethical company too! I've worn them constantly all year and they still look new, even the tread. Kathy
Bare feet, flip flops, canvas shoes (kind of like converse boots) I have other shoes, but hate them! TTFN Sage
Sandles and then those chinese slipper things that are showing up everywhere. They're cheap, they come in every color and they feel like you're not really wearing anything. WOO!
Chacos, oh yeah! I have worn them exclusively since 1998. Two pair, both are in great shape, although I'm within a few months of needing my FIRST sole replacement on the older pair. My "new" pair is three years old. I hike, run, walk, dance, drum and work in them andI do not have the heavy sole. They are VEGAN and NOT made by slave labor (unless you ask the Hotchkiss kids who work for them... and they make mor ethan I do) Chacos are made in Paonia, Colorado, US, not Saipan or some other holding, and a percentage of company profits go to wilderness conservation.
i am a no shoe kinda person... but to school i wore my sandals.... or my lovely purple converse, which make not wearing shoes hard cause purple is pretty
Unfortunately, since I spend too much time at work, I wear dress shoes most of the day. But when I can, I wear sandals since I like it when my feet have some freedom (As of now, I'm not totally comfortable going barefoot. Maybe I will be in the future). I bought a pair of sandals recently, and I love them. Last night, I wore mismatching sandals.
i wear either my homemade sandals ( ala duct tape) or my fake birks (the real ones r way too expensive). i want converse shoes, but they r too expensive too.
I'm stuck wearing safety boots most of the time on the farm, round house and home though it's barefoot I tried making sandels outa palm tree bark (that burlap like stuff that kind of hands off it) and weaved hemp but they ended up being rediculously uncomfortable any suggestions/designs for home made sandels? peace
