According to www.pot-tv.net cannabis olive oil can be made by leaving 1 oz of marijuana to every 10 oz (280 ml) of olive oil in a cool dry place for three days. Now, smoking marijuana is a great experience. But lately I've been using it in low-medium doses almost every day (something I plan to cut back on), and its just not as satisfying or shamanic as it used to be. I'm thinking maybe eating marijuana, IE drinking cannabis olive oil may have many benefits over smoking it including differences in experience, and longer duration. My problem is, I've heard reports from pot food of people not feeling anything at all, and likewise I've read mj experienced people saying eating too much mj food made them feel like they were dying in the most uncomfortable experience of their life. So if I was to eat some olive oil of the potency 1 oz of marijuana to 10 oz of oil how much would I need to consume to get a good high, not too mild or too intense. (I'm 5'8, 125 pounds).
I would think not THAT much... hell, 1/4 of shwagg /per stick of butter in a recipe will fuck you up proper. I would imagine it wouldn't take much if the oil really absorbs the thc well enough.
