Arnold Schwarzenegger calls democrats 'girlie men'

I find it hard to take this whole thing seriously, and frankly, was laughing my arse off when i read this. Women and homosexuals offended by the comments? please... he wasn't even talking about them, I think it's just plain funny.

 

I wanna hear the dems respond to being called "girlie men". I really wish Arnold would talk like that more in his speeches, it's fucking hilarious. I doubt anyone will take it serious though, I mean really, how can you.

 

I am no fan of Arnold's, but people take stupid shit like this way too seriously.

I wonder if people even know that the "girly man" expression dates back to an SNL skit, featuring Arnold, from the early 90's. Nobody was calling it "homophobic" back then.

It's all nonsense - politics as usual.

 

Probably nothing will come of this - people who loved Arnold before this will still love him, and those who don't like him well... well, will still not like him.

And guys, some things are funny to some, and offensive to others. Personally, I couldn't believe he used the phrase "girlie men," but... well, he'll probably continue to say off-the-wall things. Especially if he can get away with it.

 

I think it was taken to seriously. But hey, anything to raise a stink, right?
How can politics be taken seriously though when polititians are calling their rivals "girlie men"? It seems like these days politicians are too raveled up in putting the other one down rather than trying to pull themselves up. Stupid to me.

How hard would it rule to see Arnold go Terminator on Congress? Not only the dems, but everybody, just start kicking everyone's ass who he thinks is a "girly man" (and from what I can gather, that applies to everyone besides John McCain). All at once, you would have like 100 old men jumping on him at the same time, sort of like at those Korean brawls. Even Bush and Cheney would jump in. Well maybe he better not mess with not Cheney, since he's got that red lightsaber and Force power and all....

But seriously, this is just a pathetic attempt by the democrats to draw gays' and womens' support away from Arnold. Nobody is really offended, but if the dems can make people think they should be offended, it would take support away from Schwarzzanager(sp?).

To tell you the truth, I'm amazed (not offended) that someone from another country can waltz in and start governing one of the biggest states in the country.
