an irish band that id never heard of until i saw a documentary about them, dont remember the name, the music was pretty good, i think they were all irish and wanted to bring traditional irsih music back, i enjoyed their music the singers voice is definately different and if your looking for something thats clear and represents your idea of a good singing voice you might be turned off by his, its rough, as i said i enjoyed the music but the thing that made me not turn the channel once was the lead singer...hes a complete raging alcoholic, it was unbelievable, he was drinking gin straight out of a bottle and one room in his house had like 6 empty liqour bottles on the floor, also hes missing 2 front teeth which didnt look to great when they were there, anyway was wondering if anyone knew em, maybe check em out
They're English and I love them too. Rum, sodomy and the lash is my favourite album of them. Shane McGowan is a very cool singer indeed!
