Fairgrounds and Rollercoasters - I went GREEN!

I went on a fairground ride in Paris with a friends daughter as a favour cos the kids were complaining.'SURE'..I laughed 'NO PROBLEM'.I was 29 she was 15.She was bored out of her mind..I was screaming for my LIFE.The ride had stopped right at the top and because my legs are long I KNEW that the only thing that was keeping me in was pulling extremely hard on to a thin metal bar.When I got out - my face WAS actually green - and I was shaking for about half an hour.FUNFAIR? NO!

 

LOL this reminds me of this time I convinced my dad on getting on one of those rides with an octopuss that basically just spins you around and up and down and it get even faster ...I must have been about 16 or 17 and it looked pretty cool so my dad got on it with me and next thing he was shouting the most horrible swear words at me at the top of his lungs...It was hilarious, i almost peed myself:&

i dont really like rollercoasters. although ive been forced on quite a few in my time... the bush beast, this massive wooden one i nearly fell out of.. the daemon, it goes backwards at one point its pretty nuts... the corkscrew, well dont really have to explain that one... to name a few.

my parents used to make me go on all the scary rides when i was little, which is probably why i dont like them now.

 

i dont know what happened...
i used to love roller coasters and other fast rides.

now i cant stand them.

i went on this stupid carnival ride with my husband and hippielongstocking and her bf from here and they all thought it was kinda fun but mostly boring.... i was freaking out and wishing they would stop the ride the whole time.

 

Do disney next.

 

Although I have to admit - went on that space mountain at disneyworld and loved it - mainly cos I was listening to the music thats playing through the speakers behind your head - kinda like being in a spielberg movie.Its the travelling fairs I find a bit dodgy - nothing against the people who run em - just used to lose all the money out of my pockets on those damn waltzers.ARCHAOS on the other hand.... FANTASTIQUE!!
