produce misters

    remember when they used to have produce misters in all the grocery stores? whatever happened to those? i used to love those when i was a kid.

    good question, I always liked to try to stick my head under them, but they always would turn off when I got close

    taht is a good question... i work in a grocery store... don't know much about the produce section, but i think they still use misters that are handheld and operated by the employees. probably conserves water better and keeps the produce fresher since the ppl are right there spraying them they can see what's looking wilted or whatever...

    *scratches head* I thought they still had those. I could have sworn that one of the grocery stores that I shop at frequently has those...you'll hear this thundering noise like it's going to rain, and then the water mists comes down.

    Now you've got me wondering if they still do indeed have that there or whether they got rid of it and I'm going senile. ;)

    oh, dear god, my brain is not working today

    I was wondering what the hell you all were talking about.... misters as in mr's, men who worked in the produce section, helped people find things or weigh stuff or something

    god... total brainless idiot today. thank god i don't work or have class
