    I am seriously considering checking this supposedly lovely penninsula out this summer, mainly for camping/natural purposes, so I was wondering if anyone knows where to go/stay away from in Gaspe?

    Yeah maaan!

    Go to the ecovillage "St-Louis of Gonzague" with a nice community, and beautifuls woods and lands, and some nice houses and people. It's on the Baie des Chaleurs, at St-Omer town.

    You can going too at the Foin-Fou Inn cool place with tamtam jams and nice foods and perple. At Bonnaventure. http://www.foinfou.qc.ca/aindex.htm

    And go to Cap-aux-os.

    I've been to Parc du Bic. Nice place, very scenic.

    There's a wonderful b&b in Matane, QC. Great place.
