smoking after gettin the good ol wisdom teeth done

i jsut got my wisdom teeth pulled like 6 hours ago and i wanted to hit the bong. yes, no, maybe? i dunno i hear alot of crap but i dunno what to do

should i hit it up or wait a bit? if so how long

 

Um, you're not supposed to smoce cigarettes for a few days, same with using sraws. The sucking on a bong to get smoke could be bad, and dry sockets definantly dont sound like theyd be worth it.

 

I think you'd be fine just as long as you don't suck in the air; just breathe it in like you would air.

 

oh...I think it can make infection spread...My friend got infection after the first half of his teeth pulled (was done on 2 different days) , and the dentist had to take a scalpel and ummm cut through the infection, hmm....

Another friend was smoking joints by his nose after the operation, and decided to take shotguns by the nose. Funny.

I smoked pipes through my nose when I had mine cut. Also I didn't put my mouth all the way on the pipe, so as not to create suction.

 

yeah i was thinking about doing through the nose. usually i would be saying fuck oyu im smoking weed but the idea of going through more pain than i already am becasue of soome stupid dry sockets doesnt sound to appealing.

so im gunna try the nose trick

You can make cannabutter. I dont really know that much about cooking ganj. Everytime I do it, its not perfect.. Butter is pretty fool proof though.

Perc's are very strong pain killers... I don't think they usually prescribe them for that though.. But didn't you get any Vicodin or anything?

 

I got 20 percs when they removed mine.

 

I had like 4 teeth pulled and they gave me a bunch of percs for it. I took em like candy, it was well worth the break from bud to eat and snort a bunch of those

 

When my girlfriend got her wisdom teeth done she smoked weed for the pain every day for like 3 or 4 days (shes not an every day smoker typically). Not only did it releave the pain, I suspect it may have sped the healing somewhat.

 

yeah the only reason they dont want you smoking is becasue of the suction from drawing the smoke in cus i guess it can break the scab or something but i smoked through my nose last night and it was fine, burned alittle but i didnt mind. i think i can probably smoke through my mouth now cus its been a day. im gunna try just with drinking alot of water in the process

 

You could have just made some tea.

 

Tea's not very effective as THC isn't very soluble in water... And you guys are lucky, I've never had to have mine pulled (runs in our family) but everyone I know only got Vicodin..

 

dude, I wouldn't do it. You can really fuck your sockets up that way, it'll hurt a lot. I say it's not worth it. Unless you can figure a way of doing it through your nose, maybe roll a joint and inhale through your nose? Haha, that's so weird.

Anyways, I advise on the side of caution. A few days without weed isn't bad, and in this case, could be very worth it, given the alternative.
