new smoker right? dank is a vague term for any sort of potent, high quality bud. its a strainless term, by the way, you could be getting anything. Dank is simply an adjective for high-quality.

good weed, youll know it when you see it , its green/lightgreen well, can be quite a bit and is covered with THC, which is the crystal around it. AND be careful, use a scale, and dont fuckin sell it to people that dont know you, a buddy of mine had a runner who did that and we dont know where he is, whether hes in jail or dead or fucked off on us or w.e.
