Hey to everyone still going back to whenever last I was here. Growing now in good organic soil under 250 watt lights, some show this curling and others dont, given all routines of organic feed and water on the same schedule. Hope to get some feedback.b
Is this mainly on the upper, lower,or older leaves, looks like the older shade leaves. The leaves look healthy besides that curl, could be genetic.Leaves will do that from a Mg deficiency in bad cases but there is none of the other signs of a Mg deficiency,so kinda strange,I wouldnt worry about it unless something damaging like chlorosis begins. What strain is that?
meangreen: thanks for the response. the strain is 'Royal Hawaian', purchased as from RMS. i see some of it on many different strains (all from the same company) such as 'Gypsy's Kiss', a heavy indica strain as well as their 'Tropical Timewarp' which is the high sativa strain. i feel that constant low humidity might be more of a culprit than any other factor. They are growing fabulously otherwise. and lumpy, still onto the SS. i am going to get some sds tomorrow to start an outdoor growth, now that the days are lengthening. what are you doing presently, having something good growing in hydro? we've just got rolling with an outdoor hydro system, using odd shaped styrofoam containers filled with soilless medium and pump in nutes out of a30g barrell. to learn the grow methodology we've planted only squash, tomatoes and green beans and cukes and have been harvesting the beans already. seems like it will support cannabis very well but i think that i would make 'm spread out and not go for tall growing types. posting some pics with this.b
Hey B1v2w3! Far out Brudda! Your livin my dream with that outdoor hydro ! Im still specilizin with the Sugar Shack! What kinda nute recipes ya usin with the veggies?
lumpy, thanks for pickin up on me. sorry it took 'till now to get back to this place but here's what i'm doing: this hydro setup is for garden veggies & the like and it's a complete component system that gets you set up & growin and you don't have to fiddle with anything because they supply the food and specific directions and it works great! presently we are harvesting green beans, squash etc. the food is total chemical in that it resembles Peters and the like. and you dissolve it and then add a Tbs of it into a gallon of water and that gallon then trickles thru the entire unit and all the plants over a 3 minute period 3 times a day. it's hydroponic in that all the plants are growing in a soilless medium and have as their only moisture and food source the 3 times a day when the gallon arrives. so this is no "recirculating" system if you will. and the guy calls his food 'secret sauce' and won't reveal the composition or even the npk #s so i don't know what i am working with. i want to go to organic food totally and don't know how to simulate the composition of the sauce and i am going to experiment this way: testing my startup water gives a TDS of 250ppm. when i add the Tbs of sauce, the ppm shoot up to 1000 more or less. the same happens to the ec and so i thought to buy some recommended organic food (dry concentrate or liquid concentrate and add that to the degree that produces similar readings. sounds reasonable? my hobby plants aren't sugar shacks but are growing in soil, largely composed of resources off the land and about and we feed them an organic emulsion that's formulated 4-4-3 and it takes 3 to 4 Tbs/gallon and i drench them with that every other day>>takes about a cup each when it starts running through. i have that soil real open structured with lots of minor woodchips/twigs mixed thru. look at that pic if you will, they are about 4 wks old and range from 30 to 26 inches in height. plan to start bending 'm a little soon. let me know what you think buddy.b
My buddy grows with the same hydro system...and the amazing thing about where he got it was from his Horticulture Class Gotta love Agriculture teachers that you convince you want to harvest a product for the fair and then let you keep the system after you graduate haha
Damn B1v2w3! Thats fukkin beautifull! Both the Herb and the outdoorhydro system! Im slowly startin to get my resources ready to tryan get my unkle growin with hydro systens. He got a nice veggi garden with a greenhouse on it and he reaches over his head to pick peppers! His cabbages are over 4' wide with the leaf spread, the heads are bigger than 2 basketballs! I figure he'd really dig hydro! I can see you got it down! Blessins on ya Brudda!
these same babies have now been in bloom 2 wks outdoors. i will post the growing scheme soon. showing some pics of the clones taken from them and the size and beauty of one of them.b1
