Hi all, Ran a google search this morning and lo and behold! http://www.woodstockjournal.com/ What I remember about Ed... Well he was debating Jack Kerouac on some otherwise forgettable talk show back in... '68 I believe? He was the leader of the Fugs musical group-which did some way over the top tunes. He researched and wrote a bestseller about Charles Manson and was the first counterculturalisto to say that this was one bad guy. He was Robert Crumb's current wife's boyfriend in NYC back in '65 (Ed she was only 14! Oh well-I am sure she looked older). He wrote a book-"Shards of God" I think it was-about Abbie Hoffman and the Chicago Convention of 1968. I will have to compose my thoughts and drop Ed an e. Arete, Tundrahopper4
PS. Does anyone else out there recall "The Fugs First Album" of 1965? http://froogle.google.com/froogle?q=The+Fugs+First+Album&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=ff&oi=froogler I used to take it to parties back in the day and play it just about the time people got really toked up? It never failed to bring the house down!
