    Day 6

^ days ago I toke 9 seeds. soked them in water, used the papertowel method, and waited. About 3 days after that i was seeing little white sprouts. I toke all the sprouts and stuck them in their own party cups. Hole on bottom. I made the mistake of watering them 3 days in a row. But it seems like it didnt matter. Today i woke up and went to where i keep them and i saw my first green on 3 plants. Can u believe that in 14 hours, one of them is already over an inch in high. Im so happy cus really this is my first grow season. Later about 12 hours later i checked them out again and saw a fourth one come up. Hopefully by tomorrow ill get a few more. I know that opon moving the plants to the grow spot a couple tiped over and hopefully the seeds stayed in. Well c over time progressing

    Temps don't matter.
What makes you think the light cycle this time of year is correct for growing pot?

You should read a grow book or at least general gardening.

    Or simply look around you.
You see anyone else putting out annuals right now?

the plant is a lowryder, only takes about 2 months from seed to harvest. Only needs like 6 hours a day, read in growing guide. and its getting 9 so yea it will be fine.

    day 7

I got back from doing all my shit today and saw green in 8 out of 9 plants. Thats great! Well i also noticed that the 9th plant doesnt even have a seed in it, i most of fucked up when moving them to the grow site. Anyone have any opinions on Lowryders (the 2 month plant)?

I've heard good things and bad things...

It all depends on how you look at it...for a personal grower just looking to fuck around and have fun, it's good...for a seasoned veteran looking to sell or smoke the best there is, it sucks.

I don't care what strain it is, pot, all pot is an annual.
Which means it needs a bare minimum of 12 hrs of light per day, preferably lots more.
What have you got against finding out how to grow pot?
As in reading a grow book instead of stumbling around in the darkness?

ive had people use this strain around feb. of last year. they only gave it 8 hours of light a day( thats full direct light) outdoors. and the bud came out pretty well. Of cource its not the best but its enough to get my ass by. Im as broke as they get nowadays. I ant paying 40-50 on the E for bud when i can grow it in only two months and still get the same old shit. I mean its not haze, but its also deff. not regs. Regs is only thing thats affordable, this is giving me a wee bit more. I thank you have helppping me out. But now u know my situation. Thanks

Adam, this is the last grow Q I'm gonna answer for you. Cause you're not really serious about growing pot.
You need an entire understanding of marijuana, at least the basics, or simply put, you'll never grow any bud.
The way to grow pot is NOT to plant seeds and then ask how to grow it.
You need to read a grow book. If you don't, it will take you many years to figure it out on your own.

    Here's the answer:
marijuana is an annual and like all annuals it's life cycle is determined by the cycle of the sun.
You plant in the SPRING, when the days are 12/12 (the spring equinox) and getting longer.
In mid-Aug., when fall is approaching (the autumn equinox), increasing night length triggers the plant to bud. From that point it takes 2 months to flower and ripen. After that the buds start to degrade and rot. By x-mas or before they are dead. By light/nutrient maniupulation and correct conditions in an indoor growroom you can re-veg and get another crop but it takes 4 months and the harvest is usually poor.

I wish I had had the resources you have back when I first started to grow, but back then ('67) there was no info available. It took me years of trial and error to grow buds, and it will take you that long UNLESS YOU EDUCATE YOURSELF.
You're not gonna learn by asking individual questions cause you don't yet know what questions to ask.

IF you do really want to grow pot and read a grow book, you'll post back something like "thanks dude, I learned so much I had no idea".
    Know how I know?
Cause I've been suggesting people read a grow book for years and people DO post back thanking me for the suggestion.

Simply put, if you're serious about growing, get serious.
If you aren't really interested in growing, keep on doing what you're doing now.

I understand everything you just told me and respect it, so I went ahead and read this growing guide http://www.allpotseeds.com/how-to-grow-pot.html#OVERVIEW So far I read everything minus the clonning. It toke me a couple hours to read. I cannot buy a book. I have the basic understanding of the plants now. There really is nothing i can do about the seeds I have already planted (icant place indoors). I im gunna just let them do there thing. I got more seeds today and am wondering when the absolute correct time I should be planting them. I heard 4/20 from someone before. It that good?

Well THANK YOU for taking my advice. At least now I know you ARE serious.

April 20 is an excellent time to plant in your area.

Now, where are you going to grow them?

sunrise and sunset times are 7:10 till 5:53. Yea i know, it sucks. Im gunna be planting in a wooded area about .7 miles from my home. So far I get im running in every other day to go check on the plants. This will also be close to the area for the new plants i will be planting in april. Im gunna be buying from the UK. Is this safe? The seeds I will be buying and Lowryder. They seem to be the best out the for a quick harvest time and easy to grow as well. Here is some info about them. SPECIFICS LOWRYDER

Indoors/outdoors: Especially suited for outdoors. But also nice for indoors (in the window).

    Growing: 0 weeks.

    Blooming: 9 weeks.

    Height: 30 - 50 cm.

    Yield: 5 - 15 grams per plant.

    Harvest: Several times a year.

    Climate: For all climates.

    THC: 10 - 15%.

    LOWRYDER

Lowryder is a mix of Northern Lights with a ruderal. The ruderal genes make it possible that a light cycle of 12/12 is not needed for the plant to start blooming. In a way, it starts to bloom right after germination, even if the plant is in the light for 24 hours a day. Furthermore, the Lowryder will stay quite small (30 - 50 cm.) and will be ready for harvesting 9 weeks after the seeds are put in the ground.

Because of its characteristics the plant is extremely well suited for:
    - guerrilla farming (growing in public places that are hidden for the unsuspecting eye). The plant mixes very well with the natural vegetation because it stays very small.
    - garden farming (growing in your own garden). The big advantage of Lowryder is that you have the freedom to make it bloom when the sun is at its strongest, let's say July or August. For this you have to plant in May or June (Lowryder will always be ready for harvesting 9 weeks after planting). Whereas other plants will bloom in October and November, while the sun is very weak and the weather is rainy and cold, causing undeveloped and rotten buds.
    - balcony farming (growing on your own balcony). In Holland people are free to have 5 plants for their own use if they grow without special aids (no lamps or watering system). Lowryders are especially suited for this purpose and can be harvested several times a year.
    - window farming (growing in the window of your living room or bedroom). Lowryders stay extremely small and can be harvested 5 times a year behind the window.
