If it's Okay to feel pride for your heritage, then how is it not okay to not like someone cause of theirs... especially if that in of itself is your heritage. I mean, if you can attribute such a strong emotion like pride to something, why is it not-okay to attach such a strong emotion as hate, or even distaste. And remember you didn't accomplish anything by being southern, or black, or Irish. Your roots are interesting to remember and if you have a real historical bent, can be important. However, they are not accomplishments, they aren't moments where you pushed yourself and over came, their more like unfortunate (or, if you're irish, fortunate) happenstance. And lemme guess that it isn't a confederate flag, but one of the confederate battle-flags... y'ken?
Greengoddess & Lynsey you both are beautiful and it would be my pleasure to pleasure you both! *giggles* Lynsey, now all you have to do is find a way to get to the mid-west and Greengoddess and I will be waiting!
No we are not!!! She just said that she no longer loved Kimberley, and I told her that if she wants to have her first "girl on girl action" that she should come here with Greengoddess and myself. I am only trying to help out a couple of hot ladies!
Yeah exactly, although this is not how it is viewed in the south. Here in Jacksonville, Florida, it is not uncommon to see the flag on cars, shirts, in public places, etc. Ive even seen black people wearing shirts and hats with confederate flags on them. Even though I am born and raised a Virginian, and have been raised with a different understanding of the flag than most other people, I dont have any attachment to it. But I dont see anything wrong with people displaying it. Its been misrepresented a lot thats for sure.
We gots to meet up sometime hon, I mean for real. Your like what, an hour away from me!!! At least meet up to out to the bar or something!
This is way better that arguing over a piece of cloth. So dmgreen, describe, in great detail, exactly what you would like to do with greengoddess and lynsey
