The Mars Volta

Anyone A fan? I used to listen to them a lot and just recently got really into them again. I read their book and its really awesome. I suggest that you read it. They tell awesome stories with their music and it is complex and layered very well. They are by far some of the best musicians I have heard in a long time. And if you are into music while tripping I highly reccomend them for that as well. VERY trippy.

 

I just got Scab Dates, Fucking killer stuff, they have to be one of my favorite bands out now

I had never heard of them and then my friend Mike (a jazz fan) got a copy from a german friend at work and we listened to it in the car on the way home from work.

I thought it was awesome, very different.

 

they're really good. I just can't listen to the singer for more then three songs at a time.

 

I like that song The Widow, and them afro's are hot..

 

I saw them at the SOAD concert here in Houston, I must say I was impressed.
