Hi, I want to plant a few strawberry trees in my garden. Does anyone know what kind of special attention strawberry trees need and when you can pick the strawberries?

    Thank you.

The berries come off of a bush. They need plently of sunlight and water and the berries can be picked and eaten when they are red.

When you buy them the first year, chances are you won't get a high yield. But after a year or so they should start producing something more substantial. Also, they let out runners which root into the ground as new plants. Every three years take these runners and plant them somewhere else.
