I need some help. I've got to pick a relatively controversial topic, pick a side and deliver a 10 minutes persuasive speech and a 5 page persuasive essay. I cant decide on a topic, throw some ideas at me, eh?
Try and convince them to become socialists. Talk about how the proletariat is being exploited by the ruling class. Its easy to get 10 minutes worth on, write a 5 page essay on, and you'll have everybody's attention the entire time (though most will be thinking you should be exported).
Well, I can give you some of the topics I've seen some of my school's English classes have had to do speeches/papers on, lately: -Legalization of Marijuana -Abortion -Gay Marriage -Hate Crimes That's all I can remember for now, but if I remember more I'll tell you later.
