Rolling sTONES

I just have a quick quetion. I love alot of music. I pretty much listen to everthing. I like classic rock. But i can't for the life oh me like The Rolling Stones. I like Black, but everything else is just horrible. Is there any other songs that are like Black. Please help i feel like i'm missing out.

 

You don't like "She's a Rainbow"? It's not all "Black"-like, but I think it's a good song.

"Mother's Little Helper" is probably the closest to "paint it, black" as there is.

btw, the stones are not horrible, that is all in your mind. Don't let the clear channel version of the stones cloud your judgement. Have you listened to "Let it Bleed", "Beggars Banquet", "Sticky Fingers", "Aftermath", "Their Satanic Majesties Request", "Exile on Main Street", or "Out of Our Heads"?

 

oh yeah, get "Through the Past Darkly (Big Hits vol. 2), it's basically the best of of their psychadelic period, if you don't like any of those cd's previously mentioned then I can't help you.

 

i was thinking mothers little helper too. its good, its really sad though. maybe thats what your looking for, some of the early stuff is more up beat.

heh I like everything I've heard, even that record - Emotional Rescue I think it's called.. It's a lot of fun, although it's cheezy..
But to seriously like there are plenty of songs. My most fave are "Street fighting man"
"Jumping Jack flash" "Honky tonk woman"(just the beat tho) or the slow ones, like "Playing with fire" or "Heart of stone"

 

Sympathy For The Devil is a cool song. I used to get it mixed up with Paint It Black all the time. I also like Let's Spend The Night Together and Beast of Burden, but my eternal favorite will always be Ruby Tuesday.

 

hmmm you dont like the rolling stones......... yet, you dont even know the proper title to "paint it black"??? maybe you should delve much more into their catalogue.....

I hated the stones when I was younger, but...... I was a huge pink floyd and beatles fan.........

then once I got older, I grew more respect for the stones, and I enjoy most of their output......

 

I love the Stones as much as possible, so all I can tell ya, go and listen to their music! They're the best

Dude, listen to sticky fingers, loads of good songs on there, if you dont like anything of theirs then i guess they just dont float your boat...thats cool

there are lots of good stones tunes, but I agree there are some I am less fond of, and they can get cheesey at times.

Sticky Fingers, Exile on Main St., & Beggars Banquet are my fave of the Stones.
