If a leaf looks like it's been eaten by bugs, it's probably been eaten by bugs. Just because you don't see them doesn't mean they weren't. For instance, all insects have wings. Maybe it landed, took a bite and split. Or maybe it's something that only comes out at night. Do this: Prepare the soil and plant in the ground. Cut the bottom off a 3-litre plastic soda bottle and punch some holes in the shoulder. Place this over each seedling. Push down into the soil slightly and prop into place with sticks/twigs. This mini-greenhouse will protect the seedling from bugs AND heavy rain/wind. You owe me 50 cents.
haha. thats quite ingenious. I like very much. Now if you toke something like aluminum foil and stuck it near the bottom of this greenhouse, will this create more light? or stronger light that will help out the underneath of the plant? I remember when i was younger, my father used to use one of those window car reflect things when he tanned. He said it reflects the light way more stronger and that it only took about half the time to get the same tan he would of gotten normally. Could this work. My the way will the 2 litter bottle stop some light from coming in?
ranger do u think u would know the answer to this. Also im going to be putting potting soil in the ground soon for my plants that r in the pots. Is there anyone in paticullar that is amazing, or in general are they all the same old shit. I have the fertilizers I need, thats not a problem.46-19-12 untill flowering. sounds good rite? ok thanks a bunch
Aluminum foil isn't always the best way to reflect light, most people on here would recommend using/painting something white.
