Well saturday night I decided to take out my nipple piercings...

Ive had them for 6 months now and they still hurt, still werent healed and still got caught on everything! you know those poofy bath things? those have given me more hell in the past 6 months!!!

it kind of sucks b/c they were pretty but I couldnt take it anymore...maybe if I got them vertically somewehre down the line but for now im done!....

That's unfortunate.. but it's probably for the better if they weren't healing. Maybe you could get them done again?

I just got mine done two days ago, and I love them. Mine haven't given me any trouble so far, and are essentially painless.

I'm sorry to hear that you took them out, good luck.

I had the same healing problem. After about 8 months they finally healed, but not so much that I could change my jewlery without them being sore for a couple days. I finally took them out about a month ago and the peircing closed within an hour or so.

yeah..I havent even checked if mine are closed but im sure they are...i think if i get them again itll be vertically so they wont get bumped and caught as much

why do you think saliva made it worse -think that could be true for all piercings?

saliva is nasty and filled with bacteria that can infect healing piercings. i still have my nipples done from june..they have given my some trouble, but have actually calmed down in the past week or so
