Hi, my online friend and me had a discussion about South-Africa.
He told me that South-Africa is a country and when I laughed at him and told him it is in fact a European subcontinent he got angry at me.

I am pretty sure that South-Africa is a European subcontinent and my online friend believes it is an African country.

Who is right? Help us please!!

I am still not convinced. Anyone can fake a website.
Do you have solid proof that it is a country and not a European subcontinent?

Yeah, I do...I live in South Africa! I really hope that you're messing around...I mean really, I can't believe that anyone can be that stupid.

Aha, we have an expert here.
So maybe you can help me and my online friend. Is South Africa a country or a European subcontinent?
Even if you tell me it is a country I will not hold it against you and I will accept whatever you say South Africa is.

    Love, bird.

:) Maybe you should invest in something called an Atlas...I know...ooooh aaaah. Then you will see that South Africa is a country on the most southern tip of Africa. I think you're getting confused with colony. We used to be a British colony long ago, but we're an independant country. Charlize Theron is originally from South Africa and so was Dave Matthews. I hope that clears it up a bit. Else, go to a travel agent and they can tell you...or go to your capital city, we'll have an embassy there. :)
