do you wait and wait and wait and think it over a bajillion times before you do anything, or do you rush right in, or somewhere in between?

can overanalyzation screw up your correct intuition?... do any of you believe in intuition and listening to your feelings over other things, or do you think things out more logically.....?

overanalyze? Naw, I probably underanalyze. snap decision maker. I haven't made huge huge decisions though... moving out and which apartment to take yeah but I found a great place for super cheap with nice landlords when I moved out back when I was 17. Other than that... what big decisions have I had? Not many

that's true huh.... do you think it's better to just go for it then, and deal with possible bad consequences later?

i mean, if the positives seem to outweigh the negatives at this point but they are pretty huge consequences.... ughh.. maybe i'm just over-analyzing right now.

I procrastinate about thinking about it.

Then I rush in and make a choice on the spur of the moment.

Then in hindsight I kick myself in the ass for not thinking it through.

I go on my gut, which is oftentimes wrong.

But I also think you can way overthink things and complicate them even more, which clouds your judgement and makes it evn harder to make the right decision.

god, i should never have kids. i'd be way too wishywashy, yet overprotective, and weird.

Yeah. It's always a relief to make a choice. Until you face the consequences.

    Yes.

But Im careless with my life so dont listen to me. I dont know the context of your decision, but either way you decide, how irreverisable could the outcome be?

I usually put a good bit of thought into it, consult friends and family, even go so far as to write down the pros and cons of the two choices. It sounds corny, but sometimes writing things down helps you see the bigger picture better

    I overanalyze EVERYTHING...

I can't make decisions because I ALWAYS second guess myself, and it sucks... I have enough trouble figuring out what to eat for lunch, so when the big decisions happen... ugh... it is pure hell for me...

    :(

I think about big decisions a bit, but not too much. It's a matter of weighing out the cost/benefit ratio.

I'm pretty rational, so it's not hard for me. I also take most things with a grain of salt, so if it is the wrong decision, then I just go with the flow, and make the best of it.
