How can people read something like this and think it's ok, or for the sake of liberty???

Rejecting a suggestion by Osama bin Laden of a negotiated truce in the war on terror, Vice President Dick Cheney said there was only one way to deal with terrorists. "I think you have to destroy them," Cheney said. "It's the only way to deal with them."

Is it not we that are the terrorists? Do people not realize that those terrorists and many many others are probably saying "America...I think the only way to deal with such pests is to destroy them." He speaks like they are fleas...it sickens me. How can such people even begin to claim they are human??? I mean, when they can put a message like that right in our faces , treating fellow human beings like pests, and we believe that it is all for liberty... Man, we really need to get our priorities straightened out in this country. I just absolutely hate that we can do shit like this in the name of happiness and freedom. Are we that concieted? I don't know what to say...I mean I know how this country tends to react towards threats and what not, but it's just the way he worded that...like its not big deal. Goddamn imaginary lines

I'm sorry, I don't' like violence. I'm scared of it...I guess I jump at any opportunity for peace available, even if it's from those dreaded terrorists. I guess it's just easier for me to see from both sides...I mean, when we go rubbing our noses in other peoples shit we are going to get enemies, and if we destroy them, we will surely make even more enemies. Why not negotiate? If they turn their backs and attack us, so what, at least less people will have died. It's better than war. I don't care if its Americans or Afghani's, NO ONE deserves to die. No one wants to die. I know I don't. So why should they have to? Why not spare some lives?

 

I beg to differ there are times when people DO need to die

We cant expect the terrorists to be at all trusthworthy. If a man kills your wife..would you just sit down and negotiate with the guy and not throw him in jail/kill him? Doubtful.

 

No I would not like to see him killed. Nor would by partner for that matter. Jail, yes, but death...no.

Why is it that respected structural engineers who denied the possibility of one 747 singlehandedly toppling a sky scraper were quickly silenced? (think preplaced explosives) also, this has the earmarkings of a long drawn out plan, members of the federal regime who were not "in the know" warned of impending dangerlong before the attacks, they were quickly silenced and ignored by "the powers that be" Bottomline, the worlds supply of oil is VERY quickly drying up because of increased industrialization of Eurasia and Indochina, this has been known since the late 1970's (what do you think the first gulf war was "really" about? Desert Storm was NOT about Iraq's brief invasion of Kuwait, countries invade everyday, we don't always stick our nose in it unless its beneficial for us) then, after a brief hiatius with the democrats, the republicans gained presidential power again by literally stealing an election (has everyone forgotten about this?) now, the defense contractors/oil cartels/nixon leftovers and what have you had to have a reason to invade Iraq, they did a shabby job of it by having the CIA provoke a fundamentalist islamic terrorist group into being the fall men, this time it worked, within a couple weeks of the attacks, we secured Afghanistan, which for years has been refusing to allow construction of a major natural gas pipeline through thier country, now its our country, so we do what we want, then we go to war with Saddam, implicating him as having something to do with 9/11 (bullshit) then when that didn't hold water, we exploited his failure to cooperate with UN weapons inspectors (something he had been doing for YEARS without major media coverage), and low and behold, 3rd world country is making nukes..................except this isn't the case either, that holds water for a bit but eventually spills, so we overthrow saddam and the new rhetoric is that we're LIBERATING the iraqi's, ya, we're liberating them by taking over their country, the most oil rich in the world, so that a) we can ensure a presence in the middle east to monitor other peoples oil and b) we can have a large slice of the energy market in order to facilitate the continued growth of US globalism and corporationalism, its getting ready to go bye bye (scientists estimate the worlds supply of natural gas/oil will be tapped sometime in the next 5-35 years, course you dont see that study in the media, its not PC) If you think i'm a conspiracy theorist, i'm not. All of these facts are available and out for the taking, but your going to have to do the same research that I have done. If your still doubtful, just look at the political/corporate associations of our so called "leaders"

In order to create a subservient race, you must do it slowly, generation by generation, control the media, spike the food supply in order to encourage disease(preservatives) and then the rich, and the powerful, will inherit the earth by default. We are slowly degenerating into a police state, and most people are swallowing it, and allowing it to happen, the end of life as we know it my friends, is near.

Food for thought: almost every product in the world requires petroleum and/or natural gas to be produced, its even an ingredient in almost any shampoo/detergent its even used to produce preservatives. Once the petroleum goes, the product goes, the economy goes, civilization collapses. He who controls the petroleum, has the best shot of keeping thier civilization together longer............an oligopoly on world supply.......

Again, i'm not paranoid, i'm not a conspiracy theorist, the facts are all out thier in black and white, don't swallow the media, (unless its independent), read between the lines, and think for yourself. The only ones that can stop this, are us, the people, however I feel the conditioned apathy of humanity may be too far gone to inflict meaningful change.
