so, this guy "the dude" gets mixed up in a series of mishaps due to a case of mistaken identity. starting with his rug getting pissed on, the dude played by jeff bridges finds the real lebowski to get his rug compensated for - and gets mixed up in a kidnap situation. accompanied by his ex-vietnam veteran bowling friend walter (played by john goodman), they try to do what they should in the situation but end up fucking up big style. it's absolutely hilarious, especially the dude's acid flashbacks which are random and witty. as for john goodman's role, i was on the giggles for hours watching him flip over minute things, having 'nam flashbacks and causing hell wherever he goes. i'd recommend this movie to all, especially stoners or people who like something a little different! if you've seen this film, please write your comments below.
this movie is a favourite of mine. it has me in stitches everytime i watch it and what a soundtrack!!!! i honestly couldn't fault this film if i tried. 'the dude' will always be a hero of mine
Excellent movie! Its sooo funny. All the dude wanted was his freaking rug man. It really "tied the room together".
