Hello, i just started taking birth control pills for the first time last night. i just got some from planned parenthood - its called "triphasil 28". i was really wondering, how long do you have to take the pill before it is effective to start having unprotected sex??? me and my b/f dont have any stds and want to have sex without using condoms. the planned parenthood people said i should just use condoms for at least the first week...but then i was reading about it on the net, and some said you should wait for the first 28 days, then you can start having unprotected sex...so...i really want to know...??? thank you so much!
