    I just downloaded some of their songs, and i really like them. Prolly my fav of there songs so far is either Heroin or Venus in Furs. when im listening to it it just trips me out and i like that. i dunno im ramblin but yeah Velvet Underground = *two thumbs up*

    yeah the velvet underground is great. Try finding a live version of "Sister Ray", Usually like a half hour trippy noisy jam. Awesome

    Yeah, I have five different live versions of "Sister Ray" and one of "Sweet Sister Ray."

    i just got an old vinyl album (can't think of the name) with sweet jane for christmas. The velvet underground is fucking sweet. also sweetest band name ever.

    Not much else sounds like them at all.
    Very good band, really enjoy thier style.

    Yeah, one of my absolute favorite bands. 'Sister Ray' has got to be my favorite.

    they're great. one of my favorite songs ever is 'all tomorrow's parties'. i don't why, it just amazes me so much:)

    This is one of my favorite bands, they have some songs more like the Beatles and others more like the Rolling Stones. I like their songs that are more like the Stones better. "Heroin" is a mind blowing song, one of the best songs I've heard.

    Garage Rock is the American response to the British Invasion, like in the 90's the British groups like Oassis was their response to Grunge.

    Why do there songs have to be split into two different categories?
    Can't you just say "There's some songs I like by The Velvet Underground, and there's some that I don't like as much."
    It's pretty much the same thing.
