WTF? dont worry bout this, anyone who gives that kind of comment has got "i have no clue" written all over them, a gud bit of talking to get your thoughts and worries out in the open could be very relieving- as long as the words you speak are truthful and go as deep as your thoughts go. Help can only go as deep as you let it. peace out
I used to work for a pyschiatric center and to me, this really sounds like a case of schizophrenia. Then again, I'm not a trained professional, this is just my opinion. It doesn't sound like normal teenage paranoia to me. I mean, I know I certainly never heard voices and whatnot when I was a teenager. I had a friend who did, but she was diagnosed with bipolar schizophrenia.
How much speed are you using? My cousin had a psychotic episode after railing 90 adderalls in a couple days, including auditory hallucinations.
i agree this could be seriuse, im not traind as of yet however im studying and this sounds like it could be deeper then normal teenage paranoia. i mean alot of kids go through stuff and most ppl have an average of 7 mental dissorders but most aren't seriuse.
Just lay off the shit man! Hah. Just playing. Really, that does sound like it could be some sort of disorder...I've heard voices before but not all the time and not saying things like that. Just make sure, if you aren't going to listen to your psychiatrist, listen to someone...and maybe try to do some research regarding different disorders while you're at it. It always helps to be informed! -bird-
how old is the thread starter? schizophrenia maybe, but none of the other symptoms have been mentioned, ones that usually precede voices
What usually precedes voices? And what else could cause someone to hear voices besides drug psychosis?
i dont know, it could be something else but its worth looking into, i mean for all i know it could be a spirit of some sort, not sure if your into the whole spirit guuide thing or not but yeah. pretty much just keep seeing your psych and as bird said research what you can, it cant hurt.
social anxiety, lose motivation, drop various hobbies/interests to be engrossed in obsessive/eccentric practice (could be anything, mild to full on cult), paranoia, feelings of being uniquely special or chosen, isolative behavior, lose interest in basic human desires such as sex, relationships, wealth, popularity, etc. these are all things that can come about in build-up stages of schizophrenia, though its still different for everyone. social elements almost always precede, however, in all that ive seen.
your not mad. that isnt madness. just put up with it, and try to ignore it... seing a psychologist might help, but dont be so sure over it.
cheshire cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad, you're mad..." alice: "how do you know I'm mad?" cheshire cat: "you're here arent you?" alice: "how do you know you're mad?" cheshire cat: "a dog is not mad. do you grant that? a dog growls when it's angry and wags it's tail when pleased. I wag my tail when angry and growl when I'm pleased. therefore, I'm mad." alice: "I call it purring, not growling." cheshire cat: "call it what you like."
