they both do much the same thing and neither one gets everything. I run them both, but since I installed spyware blaster I have gone from dozens of instances to usually one or two.
Ad-aware is much better than spybot. I've got both. I run Ad-aware first and spybot second and spybot never finds anything after Ad-aware runs. plus Ad-aware has new updates much more often. it's free and it works!
