yeah, it was pretty fun. we actually did make up a song...it didnt sound all that good. either my guitar was overpowering the sound of the drums, or the drums were overpowering the sound of my guitar..but it was funny
. . Thanks your right - too many adventures and some pretty dangerous ones too,it's because my mother told me to try and do something new that youve never done before - every day.so I did and still try to - its not easy!. Thats actually pretty frightening.Isn't it amazing how the laws of chance work? If you had been one step to the left you'd have been toast. An angel must have been looking after you.I don't follow any particular religion, but I do believe once that I met my guardian angel.I had drunk too much the night before and was on a bus to the city to catch a train early in the morning, but I didn't know where the station was - I get lost in cities. Before I knew it,this old woman started talking to me - she didn't ask where I was going but just kept on talking we got off the bus and I was just walking with her, listening. She pointed to another old woman who was sitting in the street selling flowers and said that she had been there for as long as she could remember. After an hour of turning down different roads and walking through very busy town squares full of crowds of people she kissed me on the cheek and said good luck then dissapeared into a market.I was at the station.
There was thing on Discovery Channel about some teens up on a mountain and their hair went all frizzy and up in the air. They were laughing about it and taking pics of each other until the lightning bolt struck right where they were at. Forgot now if they were injured or killed. .
I got a way over a dozen things weirder than any of those........ How is that possible? Why me? Too weird.
I don't think weird things happen to me. Honestly, I can't think of anything. I was such a good girl in high school and now I have to behave because I have a kid, so I haven't really had any wacky adventures. The weirdest thing I've ever seen is standing on the top of the hill on the Monterey Penninsula looking down at the fog covering the city below. It was all bright and sunny where I was, but if you went a quarter of a mile down the road, you would be in grey soup. It was a really spectacular sight.
A few months ago, while I was visiting my fiance in hospital, where she was still rehabbing from a severe brain injury, she looked at me with wide eyes, and said "See the ducks in the park.", i said when you get better, we can do that, she shook her head, wide eyes, trying to make her point, "see the ducks in the park." she said it at least three times, and then dropped it. I replied the same way as the first each time, but knew I was missing something. This was at a time when 3 word sentences were rare for her. the norm was one word. Pudding, More, Hi, etc. I went online after I got home about four hours later and checked out the posts at a webgroup that I had requested prayers for her from, and had been blessed to receive many. A woman who I had been in contact with from Portland Oregon (250 miles south of here) , had a message for me. "Ken, did Eileen mention seeing the ducks in the park, cuz she really enjoyed it?" This friend wrote that to me that on her lunch break when she went across the street to the park and fed the ducks, my fiancees spirit visited her and enjoyed the visit. I wouldn't have believed that, except for the fact that she did mention it, three times. I replied to her question. 'yes, she did.'
Well, although we haven't met,I hope you will also accept my prayers for your fiancee. You must be going through some difficult times there. It is strange how, particularly sometimes in times of crisis the mind/soul can operate on a different level.I met a man once who had been in a motorcycle accident and totally lost his memory.Although his details and posessions were in safe keeping, from one moment to the next he couldn't remember anything about who he was or anything about his life other than that he'd had some kind of accident.I was there to play piano - and I was singing the Beatles and some Elvis tunes - and suddenly this guy was springing into life and he told me that for some reason music was the only thing that gave him sudden flashbacks to a time before the accident.Something about the tune or the melodies suddenly sparked his memory off.I felt quite privileged to be able to help him in that way.
Accept them? Without a doubt, the prayers are as welcome as can be. I am certain her progress has been aided by prayer. I cant prove it, but no one. No one at all gave her a chance of coming out of this but me. And I knew she would, I knew her. The miracle of life is more awesome every day. Blessings to you, Ken
There was this other time when I had a little bit of smokey in a small box and I was walking across a field on a misty wet night when a load of horses came bombing after me and I ran for it and jumped over a fence then discovered I'd dropped the box.I had a torch but all I could see was a million green eyes staring at me.I got it back after waiting around...but can horses cause you any damage in numbers? or was I just being a big scaredy cat? If I'd run at them shouting would they have backed off? I don't know about horses..
