when ever someone around me is sick (primarily flu) i freak out. i make sure i wash my hands several times and i dont let myslf breathe by the person, i'll hold my breathe while they walk by. and i use my sleave for opening doorhandles or sink levers, or any other public handle. I'm just afraid of being infected, put down by something that is smaller than me. I hate the fact that people judge me becuase of how small i am, even though i think its cute. but if a little virus is bringin me down, it makes me feel worthless. Anybody else ever feel this way? Lisa
i try not to worry about it. worry causes stress, which makes you morre susceptable to getting sick. plus the more your body is exposed to, the stronger your imune system. people who hide from germs or wash thier hands too much tend to get sick all of the time. i smoke, i drink, i never have worn sunscreen, im always a dirty hippie, i barely eat, barefoot when theres no snow, bathe infrequently. and i almost never get sick.
Getting sick is all part of life Acoustic. It may sound weird but, as far as sicknesses like flu go, you might want to just sit back and enjoy the ride. With flu or the like you'll get time off highschool/work, and your friends+ family will be much more inclined to pamper you as you lie curled up in bed all cosy! Flu is just your body's way of saying: "Acoustic, my dear, it's time for you to rest and revive yourself in comfort." Take care of your little self and your health my hippy lady, x Fiddler
