revisiting the topic of budy lists.

what is the basis/contributes to your decision on whether or not to put someone on your buddy list? i think it's a rather pointless function, unless i'm totally stalking a person. but perhaps you people have other reasons.

well, the people on my buddy list are people that i've had a decent amount of discussions with in either the public fora or through pm's

I put people I like and sometimes people I don't like just so I know they are online....
Basically my list tells me if I will want to leave or hang around. (no one online= no fun)
