I did up until their 1st birthday, just to make sure nothing "cropped up." After that, my kiddies don't visit the doctor unless there's something wrong that neither I nor time will heal.
    love,

I haven't brought my older daughter to the dr. since her 1st (and last )vax when she was 2 months old ~ she's 30 months now. My new babe hasn't seen a doc since she was born 3 months ago. I was feeling unsure and a little guilty for not making an appointment for them. Thanks for letting me know I'm not the only one who feels it unnecessary. I trust my instincts to tell me when something is wrong with my children

We kinda got OT, so I split the thread. The discussion on dental care on kids in in a new thread titled "Dental care in kids."

    FYI.

Carry on the medical care and kids here and kindly put the dental comments in the other thread. http://hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=143895

I did until 9 months because Taylor's weight kind of levelled off. He just turned one with no wellbaby check. He doesn't get vaxes, he's not sick, and I don't like his ped. There's no reason to go.
